Kartik Tyagi bowls the first ball of the 17th over, Green takes a single to bring SKY on strike. And SKY is doing what he does best - opens the face of his bat and scores a boundary. He runs a single on the next and now Green has the strike. He scores a boundary on the second last delivery and gets a free-hit on the next as the last delivery was a no-ball. SKY will be facing it and he takes a single on it.

Umran Malik is back into the attack and Green continues with the onslaught. First, scores aboundary and then a massive six. He skips down the track and throws his arms at it to carve the ball over deep point to collect half-a-dozen. Anothet bboundary comes from the over and it's Suryakumar Yadav at work. He adds four more to MI's scoreboard!

The experienced Bhuvneshwar Kumar is back into the attack for the 15th over. The over has only leaked singles so far ad it's looking good for SRH but the MI batters don't take too long to turn the tables. This was the first boundary-less over for the hosts.

The Hitman hasn't been at his best in the format of late and there have been questions whether he should be part of India's T20 set up going forward. In a season where Mumbai Indians have been slow to catch up, Rohit Sharma has had a rollercoaster ride. Having lost Ishan Kishan early in the chase and Cameron Green getting off the blocks quickly, Rohit patiently went about his innings scoring just 16 off his first 16 deliveries he faced. However, once Green provided Mumbai with the momentum, Rohit tried to break the shackles and with help from Sanvir Singh who dropped him twice (12 & 51), he went on to provide a solid foundation for the middle-order.

SRH have appealed for Cameron Green's stumping but the on-filed umpire isn't convinced, the decision is sent upstairs and it's given not-out! A sigh of relief for Green and the Mumbai fans. Kartik Tyagi hs the ball for the 12th over. Skipper Sharma scores a boundary and with it brings up a clinical half-century in a do or die match! This is his second fifty of the season. Brillant from the skipper. Oh no! Sanvir Singh dropped Rohit's what looked like a dolly of a catch! More drama - Tyagi has bowled a no-ball! This is SRH sinning. Rohit edges the free-hit ball for another boundary.

Dagar starts with the ball for the eleventh over of the game. He starts off with a single, bowls two dots for the next two deliveries. It was going good until the fourth one was hit straight down the ground for a nea boundary of Green's bat. A century partnership betwwen Rohit and Green has come up!

The 10th over of the innings starts with Umran Malik's delivery. His second one is sent for a four, Rohit Sharma is the producer. Four more runs credited to MI's bank, Rohit pulls and the ball races away. He smashes yet another four straight down the ground. That would be three on the trot! What a show by the skipper!

The IPL can often be the short cut to earn your place back in the national squad for senior players. Ajinkya Rahane is the most recent example of this. But one who seems to be slipping more and more away from India contention is Bhuvneshwar Kumar. An integral member of the squad in the last decade, Kumar has gradually disappeared from the national scheme of things. First, he was overlooked from the Test squad and after the last T20 World Cup, Kumar has been omitted across all formats and found his name missing in BCCI central contracts released recently. With injury concerns mounting for India ahead of World Cup, a good outing in the IPL would have brought him back into contention. He scalped Ishan Kishan today, but Kumar hasn't been able to recreate the magic of yesteryears and despite a five wicket haul has had only 15 wickets this season.

Mayank Dagar is back for the seventh over. And the Green show continues, he adds half-a-dozen more to MI's kitty by smashing the ball downtown straight of long-off for an 84m maximum. He scores another one on the fifth delivery! He's assaulting the Hyderabad bowlers now!

Nitish Reddy is back again for the 5th over of the innings. He starts with a single and follows it up with two dots. A single again on fourth and Rohit Sharma's catch is dropped on the next. Green celebrates it with scoring a maximum to deep mid-wicket on the last ball of the over.

Cameroon Green has come in to bat at number 3 and gotten off the mark with a boundary. For the fourth over, Mayank Dagar has the ball. Rohit Sharma scores a boundary on his second delivery. His first was a dot and so were his third and fourth. Rohit takes a single and gives Green the strike for the last ball of the over who slaps it for yet another boundary.

Bhuvneshwar has come back for his second over and third of the innings. WOAH! Harry Brook pulls off a stunner to dismiss Ishan Kishan! Massive breakthrough for the vistors this! Brilliant start from the veteran bowler!

Nitish Kumar Reddy has taken the ball for the second over in his second game and he's banged away for a SIX off Ishan Kishan's bat. He follows it up with a boundary, the fileder at short fine leaps to the left but the ball races away past him. The next four deliveries concede zero runs. Excellent comeback from the bowler this!

Bhuvi starts with two dot balls on the trot. Ishan opens his account with two runs. Takes a single on the next to give captain the strike. He faces a dot ball and then wraps up the first over with a boundary.

Chris Jordan has the ball for the last over of the innings. After losing two big wickets in the last two balls the visitors, they'd want some big hits from the last six balls. Markram runs to collect two on the first delivery, the second yields a single. Meanwhile, Sanvir Singh gets off the mark with a boundary. Three balls are left and Rohit Sharma is re-adjusting the field placements. Woah! A dot ball. Sanvir takesa single to give Markram the strike for the last ball and he finishes it off with a big big SIXXX!

Skipper Markram has joined Klaasen in the middle. Now, it's two Proteas batters expected to finish it on a high for the visitors. Akash Madhwal has the ball for the penultimate over of the innings and his fourth delivery is declared a no-ball! Markram is the recipient of the free-hit and it would just yield a single. And he does it! The bowler from Uttarakhand has scalped the explosive Klaasen's wicket. Massive breakthrough for the hosts this is! OH MY GOD! Madhwal has now dismissed England's Harry Brook! Two centurions of the season cleaned up in two deliveris. Absolutely brilliant from Madhwal!

Glenn Philipa has joined Klaasen in the middle. Chris Jordan has the ball for the eighteenth over of the innings. And he gets another breakthrough!!! Glenn Philips is out caught by Kartikeya. Good catch from the chinaman bowler and the dangerous Philips has to depart.

Akash Madhwal is back into the attack and Klaasen sends his second delivery to score a boundary. Beautiful timimg! Oh no! A beautiful innings comes to an end as Mayank Agarwal has to walk back into the hut. The edged ball goes to Ishan Kishan behind the wickets who makes no mistake there. He scored 83 off 46 balls.

A lot has been said about the shortcomings of Sunrisers Hyderabad's management, especially regards to chopping and changing frequently. But one area where they have been as good as other teams or even better than some is their talent tapping. Be it with Abdul Samad, Umran Malik or Abhishek Sharma, SRH have invested in unheradled young talents, who have been thrown in the deep end. The latest in the list is Vivrant Sharma, the all-rounder from Jammu and Kashmir who top-scored with 69 -- the highest for any batsman in his maiden innings in the IPL. The left-hander isn't as free-flowing as Samad, but is very efficient. Having been part of the SRH set up as a net bowler last year, his batting impressed the management and fending of interest from Kolkata Knight Riders, he was acquired for Rs 2.6 crore.

New batter Heinrich Klaasen has come in to bat at number 3 and has gotten off the mark with a boundary. For the 15th over, Kartikeya has the ball and he starts with a dot, Mayank Agarwal steals another boundary on the next delivery. He stayed on the back foot and laced it through the off-side for a four and then went down the ground on the next one to deposit the balls into the stands for a maximum.

Madhwal has taken the ball for the 14th over. WOW! Mayank Agarwal uses Madhwal's slower ball to score a mighty maximum! MI are looking in trouble now for the Hyderabad batters are coming out all guns blazing. Oh no! MI finally have a breakthrough, Vivrant Sharma departs as he is out caught by Wadhera. It was a brilliant knock from the J&K batter.

Jason Behrendorff is back into the attack and is sent off for a gigantic six straigtaway! He follows it up with a boundary and with it brings up his first half-century of the season, 13th overall. He'd want to push the acceleraror now. And so they do - Vivrant opens his arm for a huge six over midwicket. Great from the Hyderabad batters.

When Hyderabad bought Mayank Agarwal at the auction, it seemed like an ideal fit. With Harry Brook, Glenn Phillips, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen in the mix and Agarwal being a transformed player in T20s over the last couple of seasons. Hyderabad's batting looked strong on paper especially if one counted in Rahul Tripathi, Abhishek Sharma and Washington Sundar. But the lack of clarity from the team management as to how and where to slot the resources means, Agarwal has had a disappointing season. An opener all along, he was pushed down the order to accommodate Brook at the top and subsequently ended up even missing his place. A player who could do no wrong during the domestic season was made to look clueless. And the lack of confidence has reflected in the middle as well for Agarwal. Time to pack and move on for Agarwal?

Jordan has the ball for the 10th over of the game and is punished by a boundary over midwicket. Wow! Four more! An inside edge and Vivrant gets another boundary, this time the ball clears the fine leg rope. These were much needed for the visitors! The strategic time is over and the teams must've devised some new plans. Kartikeya has the ball for the 9th over and has gotten off the mark with a dot. 5 runs come from the over.

Chawla is back and is straightaway punished with a massive MAXIMUM, Vivrant goes on one knee and slog sweeps over midwicket for an half-a-dozen runs. Chawla makes a quick comeback and bowls a dot on the next. Two singles are conceded off the next two deliveries and the over ends with yet another single. Time for a startegic break!

Kumar Kartikeya, left-arm chinaman, comes into the attack and starts with a wide. Second goes for a single. The third delivery races away for a boundary. Behrendorff, too, couldn't do much. Two singles and double on the last ball add four more runs to MI's account.

Akash Madhwal, right-arm fast medium, comes into the attack, he starts with a dot. Agarwal sends his second delivery for a gorgeous boundary. Oh no! This could be a run-out. No! It's not! A little confusion in the middle and Vivrant Sharma almost betrayed Mayank. Mayank stelas one more boundary off the Madhwal over.

In the last match against Royal Challengers Banglore, Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Aiden Markram's comments at the toss was, "I don't really know what's happening with him behind the scenes". This when why Umran Malik hasn't been playing, was raising eyebrows. And on Sunday as Markram confirmed a couple of changes, he wasn't sure of them, which was a fair reflection of Hyderabad this season. Having assembled a strong squad on paper, and playing under a new captain, the Sunrisers have looked totally out of depth. This is a season that Hyderabad would prefer to forget in time particularly if they want to start fresh next season with the same set of players.

MI's biggest concern, on their home ground, has been their bowling which conceded four totals on the trot in excess of 200 and nearly a fifth against RCB, which has left their batters under severe pressure. On several occasions, MI have allowed games to drift away from their control with poor bowling at the death and the team's coaching staff and think tank will be pushed to the hilt to get better results this time around. Despite Rohit blowing hot and cold, MI's batting has pulled off difficult tasks with ease and the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Tim David, Cameron Green, Ishan Kishan and Nehal Wadhera will be expected to go all guns blazing against SRH's bowlers.
